Casandra supports our legislative reform programme, specifically assisting with the provision of technical assistance to partner governments. She has a background in energy conflicts with a focus on the Middle East, but her dedication to the human rights of women and LGBT people and her desire to effect positive change have guided her towards activism.

She previously worked for The Royal Commonwealth Society, where she gained experience in high-level advocacy and movement-building. During her time there, she provided support for the delivery of the RCS’s Equality & Justice Alliance programme of work, as well as co-led on the delivery of a series of diplomatic convenings.

Casandra holds a BSc Econ in International Relations and Politics from Cardiff University, and a MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London.
