She joined the Trust from Liberty, where she represented individuals and organisations in a wide range of human rights cases primarily related to equality and discrimination, police powers and the criminalisation of poverty. She is experienced in working closely with civil society organisations to achieve their objectives and also at incorporating communications and advocacy strategies into her legal work.

Rosie read law as an undergraduate at Cambridge University. She also has a Masters (LLM) from the London School of Economics, focused on international human rights law and the politics of criminalisation.

In 63 countries there are still laws criminalising LGBT people which fuel stigma, legitimise prejudice and encourage violence. The Human Dignity Trust exists to change this. Your donation will help us support activists around the world to bravely challenge these discriminatory laws. Together, we can bring forward the day when no one is criminalised because of who they are or who they love.
