Saudi Police allegedly tortured and killed two Pakistanis for dressing like women in public

Two Pakistani transgender women died after being allegedly tortured by Saudi Arabian police in Riyadh for dressing up as women in public. Saudi authorities reportedly raided a ‘Guru Chela Chalan’ gathering, a Pakistani ceremony celebrated in the transgender community, where they choose their “guru” or leader. Thirty-five people were arrested. Amna, 35 and Meeno, 26, both reportedly died in custody after the police packed them in sacks and hit them with sticks.
